You have questions. We have answers.

IS GET GOING/COLLEGE BLAST RIGHT FOR MY STUDENT? The ideal participant is motivated to take control of the college process, takes direction well, has reasonably strong writing skills, and can focus for extended periods. If you are wondering if our program is a good match, please contact us.

WHAT IF MY STUDENT IS NOT APPLYING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA? Students who are not applying to the UC system will use that time to work on supplemental essays, an added value not otherwise included in the program.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE THE WORKSHOP? Once you’ve paid your deposit, we will send both parent and student a pre-workshop questionnaire and arrange our 3 one-on-one pre-workshop meetings.

CAN I MISS A DAY OR TWO OF THE WORKSHOP? Unfortunately, no. We have designed the workshop to be a five-day experience. We hope families will take a very close look at their schedules, activity commitments, family events, and vacation plans to confirm that the selected cohort dates fit the student’s calendar.  If you have scheduling conflicts, please inquire about alternative session dates before enrolling.

WHAT IF A STUDENT GETS SICK? Unless they are feverishly ill, we have found that because we are on Zoom, students can join us even when they feel mildly under-the-weather. Unless a conflict is extreme and absolutely insurmountable, it is not possible for us to offer make-up sessions.

HOW DO I REGISTER AND PAY FOR THE WORKSHOP? There is payment information on the sign-up page for each program. We accept Zelle and personal checks.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? We ask for a non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. Payment in full is due one month prior to the first day of the workshop and is non-refundable.

IS A MEMBER OF THE GG TEAM AVAILABLE FOR A CONSULTATION AFTER THE WORKSHOP? Yes, please contact us for specifics.

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS. HOW DO I REACH A MEMBER OF THE TEAM BEFORE THE WORKSHOP? Please feel free to contact us by email.
