You have a coach in sports, a private teacher for music… Get Going Workshops is your college mentor. GG Workshops supplements the work your high school counselor does. We will help you identify the best pool of colleges for you to explore. This may be a different set of colleges than your siblings or teammates had; your list may also differ from your best friend’s list! That’s the beauty of the college process. It is a chance for you to figure out what YOU want, separate from your parents and classmates. Don’t be afraid to consider new places and experiences. GG Workshops will be there to support you! You may be reluctant to come to a workshop (maybe it was your parent’s brilliant idea???) but our students tell us that our guidance is invaluable.

We will help you create a timeline and explain various parts of the process in more detail than you can get elsewhere. We will help you determine your strengths and how to put your best “self” forward. Sometimes students can’t figure out where to look or how to start – Get Going can assist you!
